Is hydrogen peroxide safe for cleaning carpets?

 Hey All!

Maintaining a clean carpet requires regular vacuuming and maintenance. You need to ensure that the spills and splatters are completely removed. When using hydrogen peroxide on carpet, it should be diluted with water and applied carefully to avoid damaging the carpet fibres. Overuse or improper application of hydrogen peroxide can bleach or discolour the carpet. Additionally, hydrogen peroxide can cause skin and eye irritation, so it's important to wear gloves and protective eye gear when handling it. Before using hydrogen peroxide on your carpet, it's a good idea to test it on a small, inconspicuous area first to make sure it won't cause discoloration or other damage. For more details, read the article  I am sharing below on my page.

Sweltering Cities reveals Sydney's worst bus stops amid hot summer weather

A stranded pole on a dirt strip, an unshaded grass patch and a sign in snake-inhabited long grass are among the nominees for Sydney's worst bus stop, according to Western Sydney advocacy group Sweltering Cities.

Nine places are in the sights of Sweltering Cities in suburbs including Erskine Park, Minchinbury and Fairfield West.

The group's executive director, Emma Bacon, said there needed to be better shelters as summers became hotter, particularly in Sydney's west where temperatures reached up to 48 degrees Celsius in 2020.

"On a hot day, waiting for 20 minutes for a bus with no shelter or shade can make catching the bus dangerous or impossible for some," Ms Bacon told ABC Radio Sydney.

Hillsong Church denies misleading Australian charities investigators in whistleblower Fair Work case

Hillsong Church has denied whistleblower accusations it intentionally deceived the Australian charities regulator about its financial records, in a defence filed to the Federal Court.

The megachurch is being sued in a Fair Work case by Natalie Moses, who alleges she was unfairly suspended from her role in the finance department after she complained about financial misconduct and questionable expenditures inside Hillsong.

Ms Moses's 25-page statement of claim filed in August alleged dubious financial record-keeping, the misappropriation of church finances, and accusations Hillsong leaders used tax-free money for "large cash gifts" to Hillsong founder Brian Houston and his family.

The Star’s licence to operate its Sydney casino will be suspended from Friday and the group will be fined an unprecedented $100 million, the NSW Independent Casino Commission (NICC) has announced.

In response to a damning inquiry into the casino's operations that heard allegations of money laundering, fraud and criminal activity, a manager will also be installed to oversee the business.
